
May is a collaborative and passionate registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes “trauma heals in safe relationships”. With a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, she is well-versed in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and integrative approaches with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic experiencing.
Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, she creates a space where clients feel validated, seen, and gently challenged to grow. With diverse experience working with young children to older adults, May helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, infidelity, addictions, and/or low self-esteem. She values feedback from all individuals she works with and blends insight-building with practical tools, tailoring each session to your unique needs.
