Kevin Simms, LCSW, CDAC II, CSAT-C

Kevin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a CADC-II. Kevin worked in chemical dependency treatment for 6 years prior to moving to California. Since moving to Long Beach, he has worked at Sano since May 2018 doing individual therapy and a Men’s Sex Addiction Process Group. His therapeutic style is engaging and directive. His degrees include an Associate’s in Chemical Dependency Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Social Work, and he received his Master’s in Social Work from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY.

With a patient and empathic approach, I pride myself on being able to reach individuals on a deep and meaningful level. I believe that perspective shifts reality, and if you can view the treatment in a different light and perhaps think outside the box with the help of a trusted therapist, you are much more likely to have a successful recovery, even in the wake of repeated failed treatments.
