
Kevin J. Simms, LCSW, CADC-II, CSAT serves as a Clinical Supervisor at Sano Counseling Center, providing supervision and consultation to our associate therapists. With extensive experience in addiction treatment, trauma recovery, and relational healing, Kevin supports clinicians in developing sound clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, and confidence in their work with complex cases.
Kevin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II), and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). He has over 16 years of personal recovery experience, which informs his compassionate, authentic, and practical approach to clinical supervision. Known for his direct yet supportive style, Kevin encourages therapists to integrate evidence-based practice with genuine human connection while remaining grounded in professionalism, curiosity, and clinical excellence.
Originally from Rochester, New York, Kevin is a lifelong punk rock enthusiast and vegan. He believes authenticity, humility, and staying true to your values are just as important in life as they are in the therapy room.
