    Katie’s main objective is to support you in gaining a deeper understanding of your emotional challenges, identify and heal childhood, past, or current trauma and/or challenges, and empower you to make healthy and desired changes to regain power and control in your life. 

    Katie’s clinical practice and experience focuses on trauma, betrayal, and addictive disorders along with other mental health disorders. She also specializes in inner child work focusing on how the inner child holds the key to intimacy, recovery from addiction, physical and emotional well-being, and the creativity and wisdom of our inner selves; our true selves. In addition to private practice, Katie has prior experience working in clinical roles in education  at high school and university settings.

    Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in California. Katie is working towards two clinical certifications: Eye Movement Desensitization and Restoration (EMDR) Therapy and Certified Partner Trauma Therapy (CPTT). 

    Katie resides in Greater Los Angeles, California and is serving individuals and couples in Pasadena, Long Beach, and via Telehealth.
